Children’s Clothing:
- We buy clothing sizes from Preemie to 16.
- We buy brand new condition clothing only.
- All clothing must be freshly laundered, ironed, and in flat, unfolded stacks. Lay each piece of clothing flat on top of the other, and lay your stacks of clothing on the lid of a storage bin to use as a tray.
- In the process of ironing, you should find any defects, such as stains, tears, holes, un-sewn seems, missing buttons, or clothes that no longer look new. Please inspect the clothing carefully and eliminate these un-sellable items from your item count and do not bring them in, since they will not be purchased. Your item count should be made only after any stained or otherwise defective items are weeded out of your load. Our goal is to buy as much of the load as possible, and we buy new condition items only.
- Ironing is key to selling the most items at the highest possible price. Unpressed items will not be purchased, or paid less for, since we then have to pay someone to iron them.
- Please do not bring clothes in on hangers, unless it is a new item on its original hanger.
- Please have all buttons and snaps and zippers fastened.
- Bags of clothing are not accepted, since bags created wrinkled and disorganized clothing.
- Some items may not be accepted based on condition, style, or odor. Musty or cigarette-smelling clothing will not be purchased.
- Clothing that is not current or in style will not be purchased.
- We pay instant cash! No consignment waiting or hassles! Amount paid is based on brand, condition, and whether the clothing has been prepared according to these instructions.
- Spring/summer items are purchased from January to June, and fall/winter clothing is purchased from July to December. Some off-season, name-brand items can be purchased if we have the funds to do so.
- We are highly selective with our purchasing! We buy brand-new condition, preferably name brand clothing only, because this is what our customers want to buy. Items are chosen strictly on how quickly they will sell, and each item is considered.
MATERNITY:
- All maternity clothing must be freshly laundered, ironed, and on hangers. Second-hand maternity is very hard to sell, so we can only buy the most popular brands, which are Gap, Old Navy, and Motherhood.
TOYS:
- Toys must be cleaned, complete, and in working order. Dirty toys will not be purchased. Please have all battery-powered toys equipped with batteries and in working order.
BABY FURNITURE AND EQUIPMENT:
- Cribs, changing tables, and toddler beds must be fully assembled. Baby equipment must be cleaned, current, and not subject to manufacturer recalls.
